This cutting procedure is especially suitable for materials which could lose their characteristics or would otherwise change using the re-batching cutting process.

Materials which are particularly affected are self adhesive foil, appliqué tapes, transfers and certain rubber and foam products. In addition non stretch resistant foil or paper can also be cut to its precise size.

The reel severing process:

The reel, which is to be processed, is set up on a rotatable axis in the machine. A circular blade approaches the exterior of the rotating reel and precisely severs the defined final width.
